WTH- Need some to compress my css and speed up my site and fix layout issues

    I have a Wordpress site and the articles on the front page are misaligned, also the site is slowwwwww and hoping to get it moving faster, apparently the css and scripts has to be compressed.     Need this done ASAP. This is a template purchased on themeforest and has a lot of back end options in Admin just FYI, the creator of the theme says that it is a plugin causing me the headaches.
