I have a job that requires PHP, MYSQL, AJAX, knowledge of regular expressions, and ouputing data to a file. This will be an update on www.ypscraper.com Id like to add an additional output of MYSQL and PHPLinkDirectory to go along with HTML and CSV outputs. Would also like to add more functions so they can select which data they want. Meaning it wont always scrape the name, address, phone number, ect. They can pick which ones they want. Also to avoid timeouts have the scraping save in a text file every 1000 results and then continue. Unless theirs a better way you can think of. Then finally using AJAX Id like the script to provide feedback on what its doing. Meaning "Scraping page $pagesscraped" "$numberofresults scraped". Then constantly updating so people know its working. If interested in this or what to know more please let me know. The framework (scraping the information) is all done for the script so it shouldnt be too difficult.
