    Hi

I need an experienced Mysql database coder who kows how to optimize a mysql db that is causing very slow data return.

Basically the issue is that I have a massive database (23,000 approx records) that needs to be searched for WORDPRESS to return the post.

This is causing the pages to load VERY slowly eg: http://www.vehiclefunding.com/van-sales OR
    http://www.vehiclefunding.com/van-sales/?p=265972

If you can fix this problem for us please PM me your price and payment options (Eg PayPal) and when you can get it completed

I have 3 websites with the same issue running wordpress

    Thanks

Is this a straight-up wordpress database? If you're on post 265972, do you have 10 drafts for each post? This would certainly slow things down a lot. If there is the case, you may want to remove the 240,000 or so draft posts.

I am not on 265,971 posts where did you get that figure from?

This wordpress blog runs the plugin auction2post which pulls listings from ebay and adds them as
blog posts on the wordpress 2.85 blog install

The blogs have approx 23,000 posts on each blogs so we are told this is the reason why the blog
is using lots of system resources and running slowly due to the wordpress DB

Our webhost advised us to get a database expert to optimize our db for fast running

The url you posted shows: ?p=265972. Wordpress's default naming system reserves one number for each post, page or draft, and uses the variable p in the url.

What sort of hosting setup does your sites have? Dedicated, virtual, shared, etc., and what sort of system resources do you have available?

For what i know is that when plugin to feed ebay post, it not only taking post but takes images of sellers vans etc , at that time site using extensive server resources , dont liked by host company , also taking images of sellers , is not legal . Use plugin that doest not take images but embed on you blog post from ebay url it will also save your bandwidth , make site load fast and make server fast.

Secondary it is making multiple posts
    http://www.vehiclefunding.com/van-sales/?p=265683
    http://www.vehiclefunding.com/van-sales/?p=266098

because of these reason it takes time to search and also load.

correctly both option will definitely help.
