{WTH} Editor for long term work

Hey,
I am looking to hire a native English speaker to edit short (200-350 word) articles ASAP. This job shouldn't be to difficult if your language is English and you can speak/write it fluently.

For each short article I will pay $0.60-$0.75 depending on your ability.

How much editing is needed on these articles?
When you say long term work, how often will you have articles and in what quantity?

 

The articles don't need that much editing. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would put them between a 3-5 depending on the article.

I will have articles every day or at most every other day. As far as how many, that depends on how many you can handle but I will have you start with 20.

I am looking for a 24 hr TAT so keep that in mind when telling me how many you would like to do after the initial 20.

 

If you are willing to push your rate up slightly to $1.00 per article, I would be willing to edit the articles for you.

I'm a native English speaker extremely proficient in the language - I took a college level English language composition class in the 11th grade, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce degree in the University of Sydney.

@megaforcetkd: Due to it being long term and there being plenty of work, I can't raise my rates any higher then the $0.75

 

I understand. I'm curious as to why you're looking for editors when your sales thread states that you edit?

Are you simply outsourcing this work to make a quick buck?

 

I usually don't outsource, but the client said that if I needed to, then it was OK. Simply a case of a deadline that I couldn't meet due to other factors. Mainly my darn computer at home not working.

 

So that would make it seem to be a one time deal. Unless your computer at home never works? yet you promise steady and long term work?? Whats the real deal?

I also said other factors. The client said that I could outsource it so that I could work on other work, so that is what I did. It's done and over with now, I have someone doing those edits, so that I can take on other clients. Without compromising quality.

Out of respect, I never outsource work, unless mutually agreed on by the client and myself.

 

I need another editor due to the one that I hired not answering any emails and such..
