wtf, site doesn't load?

My site and a friends of mine sites didn't load. The server admin told us to take of the co-op ad network and it worked. What's up with this? How come the co-op ad network is causing our sites to not load?

It looks like the system automatically blocked that server's IP address because it was not properly caching ads and making an excessive number of requests to the ad server.

So does this mean I can't serve the ads on my site?

That is correct. At least for the time being.

It's not about the number of ads. Just one of the sites on the server is not setup properly (not caching ads to the ad_network_ads.txt file).

When do you think I'll be able to run the ads again?

Will my rankings drop by the time you get something sorted out?

I'm skimmin some other topics and got a glimpse of one that said the net ad_network.php will fix the problem? Is this true or are you still sorting things out?

Doubtful, the problem is on your server.

I still can't get the ads to work on any of my sites anymore, the page just will not load. Is there something I can do for this? I've been trying for days now.

You really should try getting it fixed - there's quite a few of us who cannot enjoy the benefits of the ad campaign and we have done nothing wrong!

The servers are from www.v7inc.com if that's of any use.

So it isn't just me? I finally got it working on some sites, but other's it wont' load the page. Some are on the same servers, so I can't see how it can be on my end. This is really freakin frustrating, I just got a good weight.

http://www.clickhereforit.com wont validate, and http://www.civil-war-auctions.clickhereforit.com won't even load the page using the same code as the first site.

I checked the IP address for those two sites and neither are being blocked by the ad server.

Ok, but when can you sort out the main issue?

It's a shame that people on johns server can't use the coop network, and their forums just messed up all of a sudden :/
