I log into my site and all my google ads are yahoo ads? WTF is going on? I applied for yahoo but never got a reply. Now my google ads are yahoo ads, what the heck!?
lol are you serious? Give us the URL. I applied for yahoo publisher a while back but was knocked back i think. You sure yahoo is being advertised in the google ad? thats weird. Maybe yahoo are hacking google lol, War of the Ads!
Are they YPN ads or are they Adsense ads for Yahoo products? Yahoo does advertise through Adwords (and Google advertises through overture).
My AdSense ads turned into DoubleClick ads when they show images... I thought that was weird but yours must have some other explanation. Maybe you got hacked?
If this is the site you are talking about then it has YPN not Google AdSense and hence its showing YPN ADs..no magic here. gamecodecity.com
wow holy crap just went into the coding and its all yahoo ad code... and I cant login to my control panel! some moron got my site login and changed the ads to yahoo!! http://www.gamecodecity.com http://www.gamecodecity.com I have the guy's publisher ID i just copied it and I'm leaving it on the site, until I find away to get admin access on the shock script, i have no idea how they got the password
Who are you hosting with? E-mail Yahoo right away with the details so these crooks get their YPN Publisher account terminated. Now look in to how it was possible for someone to hack you. E-mail your host aswell - they may be able to trace who it was, providing it wasn't them or one of their staff. Do you have any trojans or viruses on your PC? Are you running any scripts that you don't know much about? You really need to know how you was hacked to secure yourself in the future. Best of luck with it all and don't forget to e-mail Yahoo right away. Pete
Does anyone know how to change the admin password without logging into the script on ShockScript? I need help if anyone knows how to do it through ftp, ill pay $$$ need to know ASAP!

I just had a terrible thought actually. If someone wanted to get our publisher accounts terminated, all they would have to do is hack a website like this and place our publisher ID in to the code.. then when the hacked person complains.. it looks like we are to blame. Sigh.. the Internet really annoys me at times. There's too many ways people can fuck our businesses. Pete
No they wont. If I take your AdSense or YPN code...put it on my site...email the relevant team saying u hacked my website....will they ban your account?
I don't know about Yahoo but Google are quick to shoot now, ask questions later.. after you have mailed them enough times and got past their automatic response system. Anyway.. AriGOLD: Did you pay anyone to install that Shockscript? You don't seem to be giving us many ideas on how you could of been hacked. Pete
Ya it musta been the douche bag i payed, my fault I didnt change the password after he installed everything, but I was highly recommened by him, so I still find it hard to believe it was him. He was very big projects, and has a huge reputation.
I don't really see why anyone would go after my site though, I mean I make a few bucks a day, I can't see anyone making enough yahoo, to have there account being terminated?
