Ok, So I want to accept credit cards on my site so I can sell my damn ebook, I sign up with obopay and go to create my button and I don't see anywhere to put in a link to send them after a payment has been made, I say to my self "no, this can't be. Their has to be a way to send someone to a link after a payment." So I call obopay and explain the situation to the guy on the phone. He says "Humm, I see this as something simple but I dont have the answer I will ahve to get back with you on this." I said sure and waited for his call, towards the end of the day he calls me back and says "Explain the situation to me again please." I said "Sure!" and explained it again. He says "well their is a message box on the button you put a message in," I remember seeing the message box and replied with "Ohh, you mean this message only displays to the customer after they pay?" He says "No, they see the message right when they click it." I thought about this for a second and think to my self. "surely this guy can't be serious. Maybe he misunderstood me" So reexplained everything to him again and told him "Its a pretty good security measure to collect payment before giving away my product." I then had to use an analogy saying ok If I left a bunch of newspapers on a table with a cup next to it that said put change in here for the paper and left the table in downtown tampa how much money do you think I would have at the end of the day. You know what he said? no effen shit he said to me "Well I guess that depends on how many papers you had and how much you were selling them for." Anyone know a decent credit card processor that requires no money up front and only collects when you get a sale. Yes other than paypal? Thanks, Steve
