Who has optimized the ads but see a drop in PPC? And a lowered overall CPM?

LOL! I was thinking smart-pricing and guess what I read when I clicked that link. So considering the eCPM is the same, would you want a higher CTR or not?

Currently my view is towards low CTR/high PPC. I based this on the fact that I could influence CTR but cannot influence smart-pricing.

    Any thoughts?

There is no relation of optimizing ads and decreases of CPC or eCPM.It must increase.Actually optimization of ads result in better CTR.

That's not true, often you would see higher CTR but lower or same eCPM due to smart pricing. My question is on keeping a higher CTR/lower CPC or lower CTR/higher CPC.

Yeah sorry, that's not true... Although CTR may go up, CPC may go down.
