WTF? I re-val'ed and my weight went in 1/3?

    Hi,

    My weight has just dropped from 65,500 to 22,500!?! Helpppp.

    I noticed google site: command added extra pages so i decided to re-val! My pages indexed went from 6k pages to 9k!

    My site is a strong PR5 (HP) and I have got numerous PR6's thoughout. Im running 5 ads on every page.

    Any reason why my weight has just dropped like a stone?!

    UPDATE: Just pressed "re-val" again and it jumped to 40k?!

    if there is flux in the DCs pulling the pages, that would do it.

    Hrmph yeah...darn.

    DC = Data Centers.

    HEH! Just did it again and I have a weight of 3k now...blahhh! Google must be doing something right now...

    They are doing some update today - there's another thread on it. I'm in hell, so far today all my sites return zero results when I G for link:mysite.com so it BETTER be just an update in progress... :)

    How do you re-val at will?

    On my account page there is no re-valuate button once its live.

    At the top it says:

    "Ads appear to be live on your site (as of 2004-12-17). Validate/Calculate Weight Now"

    Click that.
