    Exactly what the title says..

I get different search engine rankings on different browsers, real difference between FF and IE.

I am not logged into my google account on both browsers.

For some keywords i am number 2 on IE

for same keyword i am number 16 on FF...

    how do you explain that..

what to do to increase ranking in FF???

    Thanks

Just because you are not logged in doesn't mean your search results can't get customized based on search history of your most recent searches. Other than that, I can't explain why there would be a difference by browser...

that might be because you were accessing different data centers and the results have not been sync yet thru all data centers.wait for some more time.

One search query may retrieve result from any of the data center.

Google is having plenty of DC's. SO, when u r searching in IE and FF i think ur browser is getting results from diff DC's.

Just do the regular promotion, u can achieve same ranking in all the DC's.

    All the best...
