WTF? how long till a domain is available?

    a domin that i want has expired 12 days ago how long dose it take till im able to register it?

    It can take a long time (months) and it is mostly impossible to know exactly when it will be available.

    :( oh man i noticed normally it takes 5-10 days but 12 it just gose up and up lol

    I wrote about this in detail in my blog (feel free to check it out). But the short
    of it is a domain name won't become available immediately after it expires.

    And no, you can't force the registrar to drop it just like that. They have zero
    obligations to you or anyone except ICANN.
