I went to login to my Website Admin today and got the message: Error: Account Suspended. http://i37.tinypic.com/zv51lu.jpg I did not receive any emails justifying this, and I am absolutely devastated, considering my Wordpress sites are my Main and only source of income, and without them I have no money. One of my sites is: http://topsurveysites.org/ And right now, it is displaying a whole lot of errors on the page. My sites are running on BlueHost and the WP Script, and as far as I know I haven't done anything wrong, I did purchase a custom wordpress theme that someone made for all my sites quite recently, but apart from this I haven't made any major changes. Thus I'm completely guttered and confused at to what is happened. I have just contacted WP, and hopefully they will emails very shortly explaining the situation. Has this happened to anyone before?
I'm on Wordpress.org. Okay, I managed to fix this now, its seems there was a problem with one of my plugins (I think I somehow managed to install it in the wrong folder). Strangely it temporarily suspended my acount, but wordpress lifted this ban after I contacted them. Thanks for the help, I am so glad this is resolved. THREAD CLOSED
I hate Bluehost, they are meant to be really bad and people who i know have used them have regreted it. I have one client on our hosting who moved from bluehost... ~ Mike
Glad you got it up. My ftp program does that on occasion because the folders it's showing at a particular instant aren't always the folders it's currently thinking about (if it's shifting through the folders as I click on them). I need to find a better one. I'm using filezilla right now. I would suggest that you look into possibly investing in some quality hosting. I'm not sure how long your site was down or how much you lost this time but it could be worse next time. Spending a few extra bucks each month may mean the difference between profit and loss. webhostingtalk.com is the best place to research hosts. I use cartikahosting.com myself and they've been stellar. If you just had a blog for personal use then it wouldn't matter but if you're using it for income, it's kind of like buying a '73 pinto for a delivery company. It'll work ok most of the time but it'll leave you stranded.
What do you mean by this? I do host my own sites; with Bluehost ($7/month). There's nothing N00B about using CMS's, I use Wordpress, Joomla and a File Hosting PHP Script. Do you mean I need a dedicated server or what?
