WTF? crazy google logo

    seems Google is celebrating the invention of the bar-code,
    I'd hate to see what the logo design team will do in honor
    of the binary numeral system :eek: :D

    Yeh i used the Barcode Scanner on my phone and it returned a text value of 'Google'... I was hoping it would relate to a funny product or have a funny meaning..... no luck. What would have been a better meaning/product for the barcode? 'Kill Bill' maybe.

    Why did they pick this date for barcodes? Was it just random? Or was there a real relevant event on this day in history?
