I noticed this on my site...Must have been the arrows didn't work? Now I GIANT link? I am sure this will help my CTR..Being Sarcastic.

Why don't the stop screwing around with these ads. You should have traditional ads stock and have a way to opt into being a guinea pig for Google.

Does your page (the one linked to) have a virus or trojan? IE was redirected away saying the page was not able to open - even after viewing the page. Last time something like this happened the page I was on tried to redirect to a p0rn site - that was about 1 week ago.

UMMM no lol not a porn site or anything close. I think I'd notice that in my traffic. Unless you get off on cool software and tech tips. Then ok I guess it is.

I didn't say yours redirected to a p0rn site - some other site that gave the same kind of error - after loading - then trying to redirect.

Your site just did the same thing except for it didn't actually go to another site, it just went away.

....Sometimes I don't know why I bother to tell people when their site does something weird, maybe because they already know and it is on purpose??!?!?....

I tried your link again with no redirect or anything. Did you take it out or is it random?

The first time I went there, I was there for maybe 10 seconds - page was already loaded, then an error said cannot load -pagename- and then tried to redirect when I hit the x on the error box.

Sorry I can't be more help, I hate redirects like that with a Passion or anything that tries to control my clicks.

Nope, I don't think it's for premium publishers only.

My site only has around 3-4K visitors a day and I got one of those too

That may be. Maybe the page got an error loading.

But were you not saying that you do have the site redirecting? Because now it doesn't redirect at all. I have way too much protection usually so pop-up, redirects, etc won't work on me.

its not an error. i have also got that kind of ad on a square ad of my blog. i think this happens when there are a lot of advertisers who doesnt fit on the ad... so google places them on a 2nd page...

i have seen this kind of ads since 1 month ago..

As far as the ad goes, it wasn't large when I just went on the site. Same ad but normal size.

are we talking about the big boxes of adsense? If so I got some but only when I put the code directly into my html. If I put the code in my content management wysiwyg editor it worked ok

No its a 234 X 60 banner. The change is the big "Show More Ads" link. It used to be there were arrows to flip through ads but now its that giant link. I have to imagine that big blue link is going to affect CTR as it looks much more like an ad now.

I do had problems with my ads recently. It was because it's still using old Google Adsense codes. I've updated them with the new ones and they are all working again after 5-10 minutes
