WTF Adsense drops from $108 to $62 per day

I think the adsense market is going to shit. I believe they are shaving clicks or undervaluing them or something.

I usually don't check my adsense account until end of month, but I just did, and I notice for the last few days, that my revenue has dropped from a solid $108-$135 per day---- All the way down to a pathetic $43-$62 per day.

Is anyone else experiencing such drastic declines? I think we all need to band together and file some complaint.

    Similar decline here as well.

...banding together and filing a complaint? Yeah, good luck with that!

The 0.00001% of adsense publishers that will "band together and file a complaint" will not even earn a second look by Google.

Your best bet is to either a) ride it out, b) make changes to your site to lessen the drop in revenue, or c) write to the north pole and pray.

ah, ok. Well I will not worry too much as it is not only me. I just was like what in the world. This adds up to be a major chunk of missing money if this trend continues.

I have to admit, on the other hand, that the revenue from one of my sites fell down to 50% of what it was. My most recent website, which is not even 10% as large as my all time main earning one, is now doing 10 times better than that large site. I am like wtf! I earn so well from this one site that I cannot complain, but of course, my largest site is doing bad now. I don't know, but it oculd be something against large sites; just a guess, probably not true.

Well, last month I was doing around $20/day. This month, it has gone up to $35/day on average. A couple of days this month, I have seen more than $50/day. And other times low of $20+/day.

I noticed that ctr and ecpm fluctuates on a daily basis and is not constant. But overall, there is an increase in traffic and earnings month after month.

    1. The economy has affected everything
    2. Adsense revenue falls off this time of year every year, unless your site is holiday related
    3. Advertisers are reducing their budgets and PPC bids to reduce spending
    4. Site visitors are less interested in clicking ads that promote spending money

Yes, my earnings are down too, maybe 25%, but it's been dropping every month since mid-year.

do you have same number of visitors and ctr ?

check your doesnot contain any public service ads

hope you regulerly check your site to make sure that your hosting server is not down, bandwidth problems etc

you can do well, keep monitoring, and try to increase traffic by some how

the adsense revenue is directly proportional to the quality of a site
as well as directly proportional to the VALUE a site has to mankind
this is even more true now during an ever increasing global economy crisis than ever before during "good" times.

in nature we have a daily selection between value and trash
among mankind we have the same
since many failed to learn, continued to make MFA sites and other trashy content
the easiest way to get rid of all the junk on www is to reduce payment below expenses and to let them drop out OR to convert them to honest and hard working web publishers.

if adsense eCPM goes down - you always have the option to compensate by adding MUCH more content and thus increasing the total traffic.

Have been doing this for a few years now and have seen daily income go up and down all the time.

Have learnt not to worry about it and just keep on adding content.

I can still work from home with the money I make from adsense.

My revenue has been up and down since august.

I don't necessarily relate that to adsense or the economy though, I think it is related more to consumer trends and what is 'HOT' at the moment. I just keep plugging away hoping things will begin to rise steadily again come the new year.....
