Yeah ... this is the most reasonable ansver ... But it is not my fault that advertiser's website suck and they don't convert, right? They all want big results and in the same time they promote sensless websites all saying that they are the best My traffic is 90% from google, organic and from images ... so I guess I should change sponsor company LOL
Would you like to know why Google might be squeezing down? They have to compensate for the fact that there are getting to be too many people like the starters of these threads: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1020613 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1017226
still google pays bad man ... if you advertise for the usa you might just earn something, but i have about 3-4 sites that are huge in traffic, users, blablabla, but google still pays from 3.2 to 3.8 per click in some months... and that is dollars aka $ ... Just my luck that I found someone to sell my ad space too .. I think this is the best thing for me .. and I get a lot more ! stay up !
Stop complaining. Adsense is still the same. Niches' CPCs change due to saturation and many other factors. You can't get the same/high cpc's forever. In short, Change your niche. Cheers
I find cpc fluctuates anyway. My personal theory.......yeah, if your clicks arent converting......you get smartpriced. I think that changes pretty quick though, if they do start converting. I'm pretty new to it all, but in the 8 months I've been going with it, I've seen significant ups and downs....but revenue is growing about 45% per month on average.
how do I change a niche on a 4000 pages website??? adsense is still the same for you but not for me my earnings are the same when I had 1500 visitors/day and now when I have 5000 visitors... yeah, now you belive me
that jocomm dude on youtube said he tried yahoo ads but his serps went down so he only got partial the traffic of when he had google ads. not really interested in trying the experiment myself.
Its because of the premium publisher program where large sites can use their name to get larger CPC, while the little publisher gets stuck with the poor advertisers who want visitors for $0.01 or less. Google still takes its 60%, leaving you with 48 clicks $0.004 and 6 $0.12 - $0.25 (US traffic) clicks. That's "the third market" ei. the f*ck them market. I use adwords as well, and knew that there would be changes for publishers when my content network bids couldn't draw impressions on the Placement network. That's just the way it goes I guess.
Maybe some Adwords users are paying Google with food stamps. I've seen a huge drop in some of my niches as well.
I think you can get on the Placement network if you have more than 10 000 impressions a day. Check your adsense admin area.
Why should I change niche? Everybody makes sites in niche he understands to get quality content and returning visitors. Adsense is getting worse and worse. PPC and dollar (some small correctionn past two months doesn't help) are falling.
bbrian017, you shouldn't show your details Adsense stats like that. Google doesn't allow. And, you got around 10 cents / click is not too bad. That's my dream
Like all things Adsense, it's not universal. Good times for some, bad times for others, some going up, some going down.
