Can it be done… bet your left arm it can, but you better have all your ducks in a row. You better already have all the marketing in place, and are ready to rock and roll. One of the big keys to doing this type of power launch is to use email list that you build up over months or years. It’s like priming the lawnmower before you turn it on to cut the grass, cold starts can be slow going, but if you already have everyone lined up at the door when you turn it on, it takes off like a rocket!

I have to disagree. Stock market is profitable for just 5% of the people :) All the 95% rest lose their money!

Thoose Numbers might be true for the Forex Market, but I doubt them for stocks.

I think the important thing that makes me ask "can it be done?" is that he says he's not going to be using any of the "tools" that normal internet marketers use for a launch (JV partners, email lists, etc.). He says he'll only be doing and using this one site. So that others like us can do it too.

I think he'll pull it off. The site's already indexed by google and ranking and it's only been like 5 days.

I'd like to beat him to the punch... What do you guys think he'll do to generate the traffic?

Obviously 1 YouTube video isn't gonna do much of anything... What other tricks does he have up his sleeve?

I mean I guess it's just organic search result wizardry. And some paid-for ad wizardry with not much budget. If he can do this and then it turns out to be tools I can use as well, I swear to god he's my new hero. Because I don't think I've ever made a single dollar from affiliate marketing or little things like that that I've tried over the years. My little blog with a ton of affiliate ads that does exactly NOTHING. I haven't even been paid for the things that I know I DID sell. So I'm a bit discouraged. But with that glimmer of hope, you know?

A load of you are saying not to trust things that say "guaranteed money", "instant cash", etc. Often, this is true. As most can not actually guarantee you. Although, I have read many eBooks, articles, and random junk. I have found, that some of these "guaranteed money" articles actually work. You just have to work hard at it, then again.. Some are just trying to rip you off for a quick buck. Web-Lounge (found in my signature) is soon to release its eBook that has 1 last chapter to be written, it will be absolutely free.. and hopefully the best eBook you have read!

If you have an established network of sites and email list within a certain niche you can easily have a profitable site in days. If you're starting from scratch, it would be difficult, but doable.

I created a directory for a high paying adsense niche and placed some ads on craigslist and get .80 - $1+ a click. So that site that was made from scratch was profitable from day one. There are a ton of ways to make money within days online, it takes work though. IF YOU'RE LAZY AND NEED SOMEONE TO ALWAYS HOLD YOUR HAND YOU WILL FAIL. WORK HARD AND PROFIT!

I have started more than 100 sites and closed even more number of sites :-p.
Anything is possible if your site is unique, Beg to differ.
    Peace.

One thing most eventually learn later in life is: "Those that CAN, DO - Those that Can't, TEACH & charge a fee"

No matter how you break it down, if you're doing it successfully & making good money, then why would you take the time to teach others how to do it & cut into your profits? That means you justed stacked the deck against yourself (Adding more competition to your market).

Business wise it's a very dumb move to cut your own nose off, thus going back to the wise old saying again: "Those that CAN, DO - Those that Can't, TEACH & charge a fee"

Give it a while, it will sink in & you'll understand what I mean :)

    Just my 2 cents :)

He has more than a million people on the mailing list. He can make anything profitable with a click of the button. By getting all curious and signing up all you are doing is giving him another email address.

As bad as 2007 was, I still managed to get an 18% return. I'm no stock broker, but it's quite easy to make money in the market if you stay on top of your portfolio...
