    hey.

looking for a webhost which allows for lots of bandwidth for running proxy sites ( not cgi proxy, custom scripts, cpu usage approx as much as a php script.)

i will be hosting simple script based websites, one of them like qooy ( mass file sharing script, http://www.qooy.com ) file won't be hosted on the server itself.

total storage space required won't be more than 50 gb something but needs a lot of unmetered bandwidth.

i have been trying to get some reliable host like that, but so far i have failed in it.

Company must be at least 1 year old, i don't want to deal with a fly by night company again.

i am willing to take a vps also , if it is reliable.

if someone has experience with a reliable webhosting please let me know.

    pm me your offers.

I shall say, try to get Virtual Private Server. A shared hosting won't help you.

i tried for a virtual private server from dp itslef, ( dme/npanel/ and lot of others) all are either not reliable ( a LOT of downtimes) or they don't allow one thing or another.

I might help you, do you need unmanaged or managed vps?

well i won't be doing too much of things on it, but i am not very experienced in it, so a semi managed will do, i can deal with cpanel

( already have a free hosting but they don't allow proxy or anything like it) and manage to do all that i need with it, ( hosting 4 demo sites on it) so far i haven't needed to contact then with support issues.

I have sent you a PM with a URL to managed VPS's.
If you need unamanaged let me know, they are cheaper than managed vps.

How much bandwidth does it take up a month.

Our company hasn't released yet, but we are taking in some beta testers for cheap prices. It's hosted on a realiable VPS box and currently isn't even using 5% of the RAM :O

well for starting consider 500-700 gb a month. and after that maybe some more. storage would be like 50 gb. ( rarely used, but i need to have a peace of mind that in case of a sudden data burst, it won't be giving problems to the subscribers)

    dedicated ip is not required,
