Ok, Is cPanel/DirectAdmin a must? They cost $15 a month alone.

 

by the way your package is great but i'm a bit short and i'm just starting on this. that's why i need a much cheaper and quality vps hosting.

yup.. before i created this thread i saw xpsave's post in some thread also about hosting... and i pmed him to clarify his post and gladly he replies..

 

For 25$/month you are gonna be scammed for a VPS either increase your budget or get shared hosting until you can afford VPS

Assuming you need a VPS means you have busy sites which should be making money - you need to spend money to make money

When you get kicked or discover you have been scammed if you get a VPS for this value, get back to this post and read it again and shed some tears

 

I need to clarify a couple of things:
1) Tech Entrance is right about getting what you paid for. We are currently running a promotion for our VPS to signup new customers and we are losing money on the current 1 for 4 months deal. There is absolutely no way to cover the costs for bandwidth and licence with $12.50 a month. We are obviously hoping that you'll stay our customer after that. Of course we will not go bankrupt because we have shared hosting and dedicated hosting as well
2) I fell into the trap of saying we offer DirectAdmin on our WIidows VPS which is not correct. In our Windows VPS you have IIS to handle your domains and websites. DNS/Mail is managed through the H-Sphere Control Panel.

I have to disagree with you here tech entrance. There are lots of good companies offering 256MB and 128MB VPS plans for $25 or less.

I recommend you go with the lightweight lxadmin panel. It costs VPS providers just 50 cents per VPS per month and so most providers let you have it for free. Its also very light on VPS resources.

thanks for the replies... and i agree with you tech entrance we got what we paid for... and now i'm looking on http://proxyhost.com and http://proxybuilder.com they have nice suggestions on hosting... by the way i'm not closing down the thread still looking for some good offers... thanks..

 

Well, DA VPS license costs $6 only to hosts...so you should get a VPS+DA under $25. Hunt around for options.

Being a proxy host myself, I don't think VPSs are any good to host proxies with decent traffic.
