I need to buy vps hosting very quick I have paid for hosting here on DP from Deities Tagbridge.net but it has been a nightmare from the start. I wont go into any details as of yet but after over a week I still dont have what I asked for vps and the support is about as much use as me sending a problem via a letter. Ok back to the topic I need vps account with: 15GB Space 250GB Bandwidth 512MB RAM - Burstable to 1GB cPanel/WHM My budget is not the best right now until I sort this out with the Deities. I'm a little concerned with the lack of disclosure as to the type of VPSs being offered. The 'burstable' offers tend to be virtuozzo or openvz. This can be an important point depending on the type of apps you are running. There are many people who have had nightmares with VPSs because of the various private server technology not meeting their needs. For this reason, my company has stuck with Xen VPS offers, because it is the only one that offers the most complete and secure solution with balance in performance compared to others. I thought I would just bring this up because, it is certainly something you should be considering when looking to fulfill your need. I'm talking for 10+ years of experience and hosting several thousand sites. When it comes to VPSs, don't let the space, ram, price dictate your decision. Look at the foundation all of that is sitting in, namely the virtualization technology, and make sure its going to be the kind of foundation you can build on. It's a good idea to make sure the company you are dealing with is ethical and honest too .. thats always helpful.
