Hello everyone, I would like to hear some price quotes for developing a site of mine : http://www.TravIsle.com As you can see I started the development myself with MS Frontpage, since that is really all I know how to use. But I think it will be alot of work to do it that way. I want the site to have a web2.0 interactivity to it. I would like it to be able to have a seperate page for each Island that I choice to add and I would like for users to be able to comment on the islands, upload and share photos and possibly videos. I would like a star rating system of some sort. I would also like each Island page to have a section for hotels, beaches, customs, weather, and perhaps a few other categories. I want to be able to have minimal support needed, more user content and such. What I want is just an idea and I am open to other options, if you feel there is something better. Basically I'm trying to figure out how much such a project would cost. Also I would be willing to trade one or maybe more of my domain names to have this project completed. You're looking at $1000 minimum for a GOOD designer / coder. You'll probably get lower estimates but be careful, you get what you pay for!
I can integrate you site to worpress and set it up so you can post new islands with no problem. This will also let users comment the islands and post pictures. Not sure about videos but sure theres a work around. As far as the rating system that can also be done. Im available for same day turn around time and wont cost $1000. Im talking 400-less
sure, based on wordpress you could make it cheaper but it wouldn't be overly tailored to your individual needs.
