WTB: Someone to make a progress bar (maybe AJAX?)

When someone enters a video url on the site, it takes a while to get the mp3 download box to pop up. I want there to be a progress bar which shows how much longer it will take to convert the video to mp3 before the mp3 download box shows up.

i want it to look nice and sophisticated but also work properly.

For ajax progress bar to work the server side script needs to provide feed back. Is there some kind of callback provided by server side conversion script.
