    Hello all,

I am in need of some Proxy Hosting, here is my current configuration.

    Hello all,

I am in need of some advice in regards to my server.

    Here are the specs.

    Core2quad q8200
    3.3 TB Bandwidth
    2.33GHz
    250 HDD
    4 GB Ram
    5 Dedicated IPs

    $140 a month

I think that right now this is overkill considering I am only running 10 proxes and a couple private sites.

But for some reason I keep getting these libcurl errors on my proxies and I think that it is because of the lack of resources the server has, it kind of makes me wonder. Yet - if I put my proxy on shared hosting it does not have.

Please PM - I create usually 1-2 proxies a day. I promote them usually for a month or so. I need a server that can hold 30-40 proxies and will not over load or cause the pesky libcurl errors.

    Please let me know.

You should check out O2 hosting from Nathan over at Netbuilders... His company looks promising. His customers seem to be happy :)

I could probably get you a Q9550, 8 GB ram, 500 GB HDD, 10Tb bandwidth for a little more that would do proxy hosting nicely.

    sent you a PM.

probably just a simple configuration error. Don't think you're eating through the resources but I think you might be not dumping the /tmp thus causing it to slow and show errors. I believe the box you have is unmanaged so the first set up and configuration is probably spotty.

Do you know how much bandwidth you currently use and expect to use in the upcoming months when you have new proxies up?
