Hi all I'm making a few websites right now and am having little graphics needs popping up here and there. They're very simple, such as re-sizing a file, changing a word in a file, changing a font colour, stuff like that. The most complicated job might be - I want an image XX by XX, with this word, this colour as the font, this colour as the background, please make the font very similar to the one on this website over there.... Basically, this isn't design work per se. It's using a graphics program to fulfill a set of instructions. you MUST be able to follow instructions I have wasted a lot of money hiring graphic designers who can't follow basic instructions. It's immensely frustrating hiring someone, asking for something very specific and then receiving something that looks literally nothing like what I asked for. I need someone who can edit .ai files. I would be giving you maybe 4 or 5 jobs at a time. I also want someone who does the work straight away without fluffing around for ages (by that I mean agreeing to do a job then taking more than 2 days) If you're interested please PM me with prior design work so I know that you understand the basics of design, and also the amount you would charge for these two hypothetical jobs a) I want an image XX by XX, with this word, this colour as the font, this colour as the background, please make the font very similar to the one on this website over there.... This guy is SO quick and so professional Speaks perfect English, works quickly and exactly to specifications on the test job I gave him. Finally a designer I can trust to get the job done exactly how I want, quickly and cheapy. You guys have no idea how HARD this is to find. *edit* just sent some more backlogged work through and all done perfectly inside 30 mins. Nice. This user is now my ongoing day-to-day graphics person. I'm far too happy than I really should be...
