WTB: Looking for small php script to rotate one paragraph of text on home page daily

    Hi,

I would like a small php (preferably script) that will rotate a single paragraph of text (i.e. featured product) every day/hour (not on page-load) on my homepage.

    Characteristics:

    1. Reads from a database or even a text file (I'm easy)
    2. If possible - should be able to include a link
    3. Should output as pure html to integrate with rest of text
    4. Needs no styling other than the standard text styling for the rest of the page.

If you think you can do this - pm me with a price.

If you know of a pre-existing script that does this (and is free and not too difficult to use) simply be the first to post the link and I'll paypal you ten bucks (yes I am that lazy :) and have spent two hours looking this morning :-( )

    Thanks

    Dylan

    Hi Boulder,

Thanks for the scripts and the effort.

The free one is almost exactly what I wanted - except for the fact that it loads the random file every time you reload the page (rather than at set time-levels)

I'll see if anyone else comes up with anything in the short-term - if not I'm happy to award the honours to you :)

    Dylan
