WTB : High Traffic or High PR sites with High monthly revenue

Hi guys,

We are looking to buy sites that are ranked atleast in the top 50K of Alexa, with atleast 1000 uniuqe visitors a day. And also for sites that have high PR5 and above. If it's a combination of the above the better! No specific themes at all, it cna be anything field including adult. The site also needs to be making atleast $250 a month.

The traffic should also be mainly from USA and Australia. Age groups of 14-30 prefered as well. Not a requirement though...

Our budget can vary with the site in question and can go from $1000 and to as high as $50,000 depending on how good we think the site is.

We have already bought 5 high traffic sites here and have a good reputation so be assured your dealing with professionals here!

To be ranked inside the Alexa Top 100K, you generally requrie atleast 4k visits / day.

I get 5k/day and I'm only in the top 90K.

Just food for thought

 

I have a celebrity forum that is Alexa Ranked 38K. It has over 280K posts, over 7K members. Here is an image of the stats. The reason the stats only show the last two months is because we changed servers.

Guess it depends how many people in your site's demographics have the alexa toolbar installed. I get over 8K per day uniques and I'm just outside of 110K in alexa. Guess my visitors don't bother with Alexa. Funny thoguh I bought a site from a fourm and when it was on sale the alexa ranking went through the roof, which goes to show webmasters use the thing ( alexa toolbar) but not really the general public.
Back to topic, the site I bought was making around $750/month and will easily top over 2K per month this month. Site has been growing at around $700/month in adsense

Alexa is faulty for all sites that host mostly images. Check this auction: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=125354, you'll see that alexa ranks 4,000,000 for a high traffic site.

When people google for images, the site is iframed, so the url is appeared in address box is http://images.google.com. The site url is cloaked away from Alexa.

 

I agree alexa isn't the most acurate but still a good tool.

hmmm well how bout this..........I have a site with a alexa ranking of under 45,000, it gets over 130,000unique visitors a month, and is a page rank 4, and, has a member base of over 30,000!! this site is 4 years old and certainly NOT a cheap site, all custom built script, php based and this site gets sales daily some times several a day.I might not even sell it , I can tell you I will not even consider anything less than 25,000 for this as its among the top ten sites in its field, it is internet related and not porn, gambling or illegal, my site has a EXCELLENT reputation in many forums as well as many viral listings on google,yahoo, msn, all the web,and about 66 other big search engines...

Not true at all mate. I'd be guessing your site is not in the webmaster space.
