    sort of. Your directory makes revenue so you will obviously expect higher price for it. I am looking to build evertyhing from scratch, hence it doesn't matter if there is site on the domain or not.

    You mean cheap domain..?? As dracubat says go tdnam & find more unused domain with cheap price.. just filter what you want.. I swear you can get better domain there..:)
