    Regardless of how high the value of dp is if the buyer was genuinely interested he/she would have contacted shawn directly/in a more professional way. As far as I know such deals/offers are often kept under wraps until the sale is completed( as in case of toms hardware).

    I am always suspicious of round numbers and often people speak of revenue and people think it is the same as profit, you need to subtract costs and it wasn't that long ago that Shawn was asking for donations for some more hardware so I wouldn't be surprised if there was somewhere around $10,000 in Adsense revenue at one point but the costs may have eaten that up.

    There may be some value in buying it and converting parts of the forum to subscription based but then you'd always be struggling with whether you should ban a paying nut case or let him troll on.

    Hey why is this in the entertainment section?
