WTB: Dedicated Server - 1000 concurrent users minimum - VBulleting + Shout + Download

I need a server for another business I am managing... The site needs to support a minimum of 1000 concurrent users, with around 500gb bandwidth minimum per month, 40gb or larger hard drive...

It needs to be dedicated, It must be managed, We must be able to get root access if we need it OR you must be on call to change server settings if we need it... We need the latest PHP, MySQL, Apache, with a Linux OS..

We have switched hosts 5 times now, and Godaddy sucks, they gave us something they said would work, but actually was worse than the shared hosting we had, so we are out, looking for another host...

We have multiple domains, emails, and all that...

Please let me know if you have the server for us!

If high availability and reliability is what you are looking for, I would suggest a little web cluster with the addition of a dedicated MySQL Server and an optional MySQL replication server for real time backups. You can see the details of our little web cluster here : iweb.com/managed-hosting/web-cluster/ you will see lower in the page a customer testimonial, this customer (big soccer) runs a 121,935 member forum on an enhanced version of the cluster (multiple web and db servers). With 1000 concurrent vbulletin users you need at least 2 high end servers (one web + one database) but the cluster would provide a better solution and scalability.

As for the contact problems you had, we are sorry and it should be fixed soon but once you get through the first line of contact you should be happy, you will have direct contacts with the sales staff for quick answers and for support requests once your server is online you can report emergencies through our customer hub and they are treated as priorities. Sysadmins are also quick on answers and if you go for a managed cluster you will get special contacts and escalation procedures.

What kind of website are you running? 1000 concurrent users and only 5GB worth of bandwidth useage from the last 2 days doesn't really seem to add up(that's only around 75GB per month). Is it 1000 concurrent users at all times or only peak times? What kind of server are you being hosted on now? If it's possible you over estimated your usage and concurrent user amount, here is a more reasonable server for you:
