wtb cheap hosting

    Hello,

    i have hosting other places but need cheap hosting for a project i am going to run. i will be sending lots and lots of email with this and do not want to try it on my reg hosting plan at hostican so want to buy cheap hosting.

    it will run a php script and i will not be doing anything else, so please let me know a price. depending on how cheap it is, i will go with the first reputed dp member that posts in the thread... can pay thru paypal now.

    As mass-mail can be picked up as spam could you please tell us:

    - How many emails you plan to send?
    - What script you are running
    - Are they opt-in/opt-out emails?

    @ Cameron,

    i bought this http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=872775 package - it gathers targeted emails from craigslist. so they are not opt in, however i will be giving people the opportunity to not get emails (opt out) if they dont want to. about 2,000 emails will be collected, maybe will email half (depending on how tests go).

    script is called Traffic Emailer

    these are targeted emails, but it is probably better if the hosting is outside the uk / usa. :)

    OK, well maybe a VPS would suit? That way, you are less likely to get shutdown by the hosting company for mass-mailing, or spamming. You also get a dedicated IP so if it gets blocked, it's your own fault :p

    We have VPS at FiveMinuteVPS.com, or IwhiC.com has VPS's, and others like EuroSrv, VPSBite and HWSHosting also have them :)
