I think your site work work well advertising with us as we have a very similar userbase. We are a also a forum and have over 30,000 registered members with 190,000 absolute unique visitors per month. Here is the info page:

We cost a bit more then other site, but if you buy an ad placement, it will be there for a whole month showing up on ever page of the site. We get a over 700,000 page views a month which would give ad over 700,000 views.

In my opinion, if you are looking for traffic not PR, you would do better spending more money advertising on a few high traffic sites then spending less advertising on lots of low traffic sites.
