I'm looking for a design concept that will allow our charity to sell books. The work is for concept only, in psd format. Only home page. Post early even if you don't think your concept is perfect yet. I'll be responding very quickly to each design post to give feedback so we can tune it in quickly. Design Elements: Clean and simple with white background (similar to overstock.com or this gates foundation Home page must be a combination of a bookstore and a charity. HEADER: There needs to be: 1. An area in the header for (my account, customer service, order status) 2. Prominent book search box 3. Area in left side for a logo. 4. Info page links a) About Us b) Get involved c) Our partners 5. 2 tabs, or other prominent navigation feature for: a) Books b) Textbooks This is so that people may click the book button and get to a page dedicated to featured books to dig deeper into the books we sell, and the same for the textbook link. MAIN CONTENT We need a wide image that allows us to send our call to action. Below the main image we need 2 or 3 columns, one for blog type entries and another for books cover images of books we have for sale.
