I've just started a new personal travel blog, and therefore need an AWESOME header for the site. The url is Vagaben.com, where you can find the design for the blog as well. The header should match the blue/grey overall theme of the site design. My logo should be displayed in the left corner, and 3 framed photos should be displayed in the right corner.(old header example included below). The background picture could be a picture over Rio de Janeiro (focus statue of christ), Macchu Pichu or something similar. I'm open for different ideas, so feel free to try out anything. The size on the header is: 772x200 EDIT: The header should also include the following subtitle: Tales of a Vagabond Files required: .jpeg .psd Pictures can be found here, either individually or in zip/rar. Included pictures: 2x versions of logo 1x old example banner (example for picture frame) 3x pictures to be framed Hoping for a good contest with many entries, I'll provide feedback as often as I can. PRIZE: $30 Cheers, Ben
Hi Xiaeron, thanks for your entry! The placement is exactly how it should be. However, I feel that the coloured border on the logo and the pictures are disturbing the content. The background is also to disturbing and draws the attention away from the logo and the pictures. Could you try with different borders, forexample white for pictures, and also with a more relaxing background? Macchu Pichu and Rio is not a must. Cheers, Ben
Hi, thanks for your entry! I really liked the frame and the overall look off the included pictures! Would prefer a darker background, and for the subtitle to be included. (view "Edit" in original post.)
Hey, thanks for participating! I like the size of the logo, but the background looks a bit odd with the statue placed in Macchu Picchu. The font on the subtitle looks nice, but impossible to read. Cheers, Ben
Hi Biruhato, thanks for your entry! You are definently on the right track! Both the view and the colour of your background is perfect. However, the quality looks a bit bad. Do you have the background picture in a better resolution? I like the font you have picked for the subtitle. Could you try a different setup where the logo is a little bit bigger and get more focus? Also try to reduce the size of the imageframes. Keep up the good work! Cheers, Ben
