Peeps.. Came across an interesting Wall Street Journal article via twitter http://www.blogertizeworld.com http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124421448828589241.html Have a look at the fourth story A startup is raising capital to run its business by selling adspace to bloggers and internet marketers for as low as $15 for a period of 3 years and in return offering profit sharing. Seems to be inspired by MDHP. According to the website they have space for 2,860 bloggers and have already sold adspace worth $55,000 to around 1,900bloggers in last 9 months Kool stuff indeed.. Wonder how ppl come up with such concepts and make money out of it.
Yea.. I remember that discussion on Blogertizeworld.. I just googled around and found a couple more articles on this startup. http://itmagz.com/index.php/innovati...-business.html http://www.business-standard.com/ind...oggers/354086/ http://sify.com/finance/fullstory.ph...ory=Interviews This guy surely is marketing his site well. He's into collaborations with various blogger forums it seems. Check this out http://www.indiblogger.in/blogertizeworld/ Nice marketing strategy. The best part is that its cheap.. so worth a try I feel
Here is the last thread about this. It was very heated. As I said, not a big fan of hype without substance...seen it before in the 90's. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1255622&highlight=blogertize
