Wrzhost is Offline

Hi, I'm a costumer working with this Offshore company, they are pretty cheap, more exactly they oversell.

3 days have passed since the site came offline, that includes hosted sites like mine. I'm pretty scared because, I don't have the backed-up files in order to migrate my site in case something happens.

Getting back to the topic, has any one of you heard any news about the event, if it was scheduled, or probably have been taken by surprise.

You never know what could happen. I've seen some Wrzhost announcers here, maybe some of you could reply at this thread and explain the situation.

Have you opened a ticket with them? Looking at their server status page I see "Shared Directadmin" listed as having http down. I assume thats the server you're on?

Well I'm on their site http://www.wrzhost.com/ right now which is working fine. Is it a possibility your ISP is having issues?

wrzhost got a reputation for being down long time without contacting the clients, and yes the probably oversell, as the speeds are very slow.

they are cheap yes but your really get what you pay for -> no service, slow speeds,... better spend a few dollars more and get better uptime and service.

    I disagree with this.
We don't oversell as we are having unmetered servers and 1 terabyte harddisks in each server, they are usually dual core or quad core.
The slow connection is because the shared servers are on a shared line,we also have servers on dedicated lines like the wrzhost main server and our dedicated and vps servers.
We have a support team now and we hired a tech.

We have had some downtimes but we always do whatever it takes to bring the servers back as soon as possible.
We have over 250 clients so they are hosting a lot of scripts and not all of them are error free and I haven't talked about botnet attacks.

It's not easy to keep this up but usually we try to reply at tickets within 12 hours.

You can also call us if the priority is really high.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience the downtime may have caused you.

You can check our uptime by clicking the uptime image on our website.

    Kind regards

    Kevin

Thanks for the response Kevin, but my site www.consolemaniak.com just went suspended for no reason, I haven't received a single email regarding the suspension.

I think this is a very unprofessional way of treating your costumers, I hope I get a good reason. My bills are up to date.

I just sent a support ticket.

Oh no, they have replied me and said I was using the CPU above it's limits, and they are telling me that I must upgrade to semi-dedicated package.

I hope they haven't deleted anything!

Everything is fine now, but I'll have to buy the semi-dedicated package though, looks like my site has been getting heavy traffic which is good.
I have received good responses from the support team, and they were pretty quick too.

Your site is up and running fast again.
I'm sorry that we had to suspend you but we only allow a cpu usage of 5% max on shared hosting to ensure every client gets what he/she deserves.
We always send a support ticket immediately to the client afterwards.
