Bug Wrongly Infracted...Twice...please help

FYI: This is a bug notification not a complaint. The bug my be due to an error in code or human, but it needs to be fixed.

I was not bumping the thread simply notifiying potential buyers that due to a lack of interest at the current price I would be accepting lower offers in private. My intention was only to let people know that if they were interested but didn't have my asking price then to send me an offer anyway as I might accept it, not to bump the thread. Also, beacause of the time frame and/or a new mod that you guys have installed my post didn't even bump my thread, it stayed in its same position so the supposed "bumping" never even occurred.

I would really like to let potential buyers know that I am now accepting offers, how do I do that if you guys delete my post and give me an infraction for doing so? I take this serious and am trying to make a living.

I also recieved an infraction on Feb 18th 2009 that was blatantly in error and I would like to have it removed please. I posted an uncoded template for sale in the Buy,sell,trade/Templates section and recieved an infraction for "Thread Started In Wrong Category". What is the deal with that? I did suggest that the potential buyer might be interested in registering the domain name for the fictional company name I used on the templates logo but that was just a suggestion and I was in no way selling a domain, just a template. You guys should really look over things carefully before dishing out infractions out.

I need to have these removed, please help.

Well with the first one you were bumping... dont ever double post, just edit the old one.

With the second one, I dont know what thats about, but you should probably have recieved a bumping infraction as well, because you had pretty much done 5 posts in a row!!!!

 

Not bugs. You definitely deserved an infraction point for both.

1. Posting to lower prices just because people aren't interested is bumping. People do it all the time to keep lowering BIN prices until someone bites. Not allowed.

2. The only error is that it looks like the mod meant to check off the bumping infraction and not the wrong category one. Either way, you would have gotten one point. Not only that, but it's already expired (they never get deleted from your account). The best I could do is reverse it and give you the proper infraction so it's still on record, but that would mean it would be active again instead of expired (not a good idea for anyone).
