So, i was given an infraction apparently for "Posted when it should have been a Private Message" however, the instructions say that I should "Post in the thread to ask questions, give feedback or make a public bid in an auction" which I did. I asked a question. "What's the URL? please PM me [details]" So, how come if I followed the rules, did I get an infraction?
There are certain type posts that are always subject to infractions. The type you posted is one such. From FAQ: Bumping Threads - Do not bump or ask people to bump threads with "PM me details", "send me the URL", "I'm interested", "sold", or any other unnecessary post that can be made by PM. ** In addition, when responding to someone's thread, you may not post in the thread to "send more information", "PM me the details", "PM sent", or anything similar. If you are interested and don't have a valid question that applies to everyone else then you must PM the original poster. **
i get that, my problem is that i asked a question to get more details, and asked that info be PMed to me so we can start an order, not sure what is wrong about that? I understand if i just said "PM me details" but i asked a question AND that additional information be sent to me
This has happened with me also a plenty of times earlier. but now i have understood all the rules properly.
