Hi, I am from India and my client is in U.S has given a wrong address(my address) in xoom. But still the payment mode is Bank Deposit. I couldnt see the account number in the mail i recieved from xoom when transaction is initiated.How can i know whether my client has given correct account number? Please advice.
You cant see the bank account number from the mail that you will get from XOOM,ask your client to call up XOOM customer care and get all the details!
well i couldnt contact my client as he has gone for vacation after he initiated the transaction. Is there any other possible way?
No, there is no any other possible way because they only reply and give brief details to sender as far as i know.
You can try confirming that by calling xoom at your end, give them tracking no. and say that you want to confirm if the details are correct, it might help you. Cheers!
Well i just did that and i was responded perfectly by a customer care representative from xoom. More importantly my client has given a correct Account numer and also Bank branch name. Xoom rocks.
In future dont worry for wrong account number too. They need to match name & account number both in order to deposit TPO. If anyone does not match they hold the transaction.
Yes agree with you. There will be some delay due to this but your funds are always safe IMO with XOOM.
