    I don't know about the rest of you... but at this time, I have yet to actually see it on the toolbar.

    Really, its up to wrmineo as to when and who... his toolbar, his timezone, I would imagine.

    I will have to make a judgement call here I guess ...

    The update seems to have started on the 19th but is not apparent to all yet.

    I will recruit a few DP members who did not take a guess and ask for some impartial judging to decide.

    I'll post the winner after the "judges" take a look at the replay and render a decision - link will be visible at Heres1 within the hour of their decision.

    Have fun trying to get a consensus on the day everybody's PR hit the toolbar (especially from those who voted for the next day).

    I'd say PR is the first day it started rolling out. No one can argue that day was Oct. 19th

    There are confirmed reports, including mine, that it hit at least some toolbars on the 19th. I believe who ever picked the 19th should be the winner.

    The judges' votes are coming in now and there is already a consensus, but I will wait for the last few to weigh in and will declare a winner by 12 noon EST (within the next 3 hours) if not earlier. If I have not gotten the last few votes in, I will go on the consensus received thus far, which is what I was already leaning towards anyway ... stay tuned.

    Congratulations to Digital Point Member Sigma for correctly predicting that the Google Toolbar Update would occur on 19-Oct-2005.

    The update is not present on all data centers as of yet, but it was visible on the toolbarqueries Google datacenter as of last night, so Sigma is the winner and now has a site-wide link at Heres1.com that can be seen on the left-hand column of every page as:

    Well, since my son's birthday worked so well for this pr update, I'll choose January 15th for the next, my daughter's birthday ;-)

    As for what this did for me... weird, and I guess could still be in a state of flux but both of my sites, one started the 1st of August, the other the first of September are showing a pr of 5!!! 5??? (still rubbing my eyes) anyway, I'll wait till the dust settles before celebrating ;-)

    Some seem to be using some pretty good calculations, other website predictions, etc. but you prevailed using the oldest trick in the book - birthday of a loved one; many a lottery has been won the same way, so obviously not a bad way to go ;)
