I do sponsored posts on my blog, but I'm wondering how I can get more sites in the niche to find me and ask for a sponsored review. I'd also like to know why reviewme and payperpost reject my site immediately after submitting....It's because my site is powered by Joomla isn't it? I knew it!
Can you post the link here so we could check it out? It may also be rejected on the bassis that your site wasn't old enough and didn't carry enough content. I'm not sure if that's the reason there might be some other reason as well..
Wow! nice site man.. I think you should ask them why? I would have approved you as soon as you hit submit
Thanks James :] I wonder what they go by? They judge it so quickly I just wonder what they're looking at between those few seconds between me submitting and then getting message that says: "Looks like you've tried to add this site before. We've got a record of the site and automatically review rejected sites. You'll be notified via email when it qualifies. Thanks!" ... Perhaps the age of the site? I launched the site at the beginning of february so that could be it.
Your site may not have enough traffic, thus that is the reason they automatically rejected you. It isn't because you are using Joomla!
I don't think you were denied membership because you're using Joomla. It's got more to do on your blog's age, post quality, frequency and statistics. To get more people to your site and ask for a review, you need to go after them. The best way to do this is to network with other bloggers. This has helped me find and meet advertisers on my blog. Cheers
Right after I hit submit..I don't think a human goes to my site and checks my post quality. Besides, I'm confident in my posts. You sort of have to be So it's not post quality. And as far as traffic - I get just as much traffic or more than other bloggers I know that use reviewme! I'm willing to bet that it's because the site is so new and with a pr0 (hasnt reached a PR update yet).
You use Joomla for posting? Big, big mistake. Just use Wordpress, or another blogging software. So much better.
Why is it a big mistake? The only problem I see that it's giving me is signing up for reviewme and payperpost. If you mean seo and such. I've pimped my joomla site into a seo machine
I have a Joomla blog on Payperpost thats not why... you need to have a calendar installed that shows your posts.... see the blog.maguireclan.net link in my sig
Pay Per Post requirements . So from what I see from your blog and from what you said. It may not have met the 30 day standard. And or from what I see I do not see an archive section on the home page of your site stating when the blogging started. Like some WP will say what month you started from the home page. From what I am thinking is age and no archive on homepage to meet payperpost requirements. Somehow I thought the age requirement was 3 months, But there TOS says otherwise. Not sure about Review Me. Checked the site and cant find the requirements. So I would wait until atleast end of May and fix some things on your site. There are plenty of other things you can do to earn money without such sites until you can age your site et cetera. Patience is a novel idea. Trust me on this one.
You could probably do alot better without them and their requirements. Try payu2blog,Helium, and maybe even smorty
You wanted to present them with cash by wanting to add such a good blog into their database and they had just rejected you. If you are so eager to write for their advertisers, contact their support. Alternatively, I would advise you to look out for advertisers on your own. In your niche like yours, you can easily get some advertisers who are willing to pay for a good review and since there is no middleman, the price you charge compared to when they approach a middleman like PPP will be much more lower.
Honestly, my blog DatMoney.com was rejected by both of them when I first applied but then again, my blog was like a month and a half old. Since then, my stats skyrocketed and I resubmitted, got that same message you got from reviewme and contacted their support. They must've checked out my stats because within a couple hours, my blog was accepted and I was receiving offers lol... Oh, and it's not because it's Joomla... but Joomla is pretty good!
The reason i was rejected because I don't have my archives module published. I might do that and re-apply. I don't exactly want a middle man but it could be good for just a while to get my name out there and get some people coming back to me.
