I have a simple site on "cars" that I write on daily. The blog talks about new models that get announced, new developments etc.

I would like to market the site with press releases. I see a lot of sites use PR to market the sites, but what can I write a PR on if I only talk about industry news on my blog

The internets is a massive resource of infomation. If you are simply acting as a hub for referencing others, then you'll struggle to build your own credibility.

You ask the question, what can I write about? Car manufacturers have their own PR teams so you can't tap in there.

Where can you add value? Can you uncover some more infomation? Can you draw a radical, peculiar or funny conclusion to a car? Have you ever watch Top Gear? They add value by being creative.

Once you've got something new to add to the internet, then it's easier to write newsworthy content. For example - you could say 'Report Shows New Porsche 911 Less Damaging To Environment Than A Cow'.

Attention grabbing. Intriguing. Results in a click...
