YMC You make a good point, and that does require an answer. The example I used was the top Google listed law firm in Chennai, India. However, by checking website traffic it was easy to see how little internet traffic they were drawing. Both of us have made money by helping business people get more traffic. They are not writers. What I should of clarified is this: If you write sales copy, do the same thing, but focus where products are being promoted. If you write content, do the same thing, but focus on service professionals. The law firm is providing a service, so properly worded content is what they need. It proved the top listing did not know why the internet traffic was basically non-existent. You know how to get business. Many members in this forum struggle to find any business from any person. The point I was trying to make is that the business is there. Plenty of it. Learn and earn. ------------------------I appreciate you pointing out to me, that I should have distinguished the 2 different TYPES of business with big bucks to spend on getting internet traffic -------- thank you--------
That much, huh, Mark? Okay, if you say so. Dyadvisor, please, double your meds dosage. It's "sense," not sens, omarabid. Got a brain group going here. ~ ir89, I forgot this handy little site to give you. http://www.makealivingwriting.com/ Carol (Carol Tice), I, and so few other true copywriters out there tell it like it really is. There are FAR too many who say they are good, but, heh, they are not. They throw up ugly, loud red text, and they make other stupid, amateur mistakes. Don't follow suite! Study her site. It's one of the best out there. And you don't need bullshit boots to read it.
I'm not quite sure who you are referencing here...whether it is me directly or the general populace of this forum with the above comment/s. However, I have at the moment so many copywriting orders coming in - requests for sales copy and sales letters that 80% of the work I'm turning away. As you know, I'm not cheap - I charge quite a lot of money under normal circumstances and I can do that because I'm very good at what I do. Thanks for your tips though - I do believe your heart is in the right place even if one or two of your opinions are a bit skewed from time to time. Best, Mark Andrews...
Mark, I did not hit the space bar. The part to you was only this: Mark: You are correct, that was not the best way to make a concept clear. The purpose was for writers needing higher paying clients. If you want to be a professional and get paid professional wages, start working with those that have money for your services It was went to imply, that you have paid your dues. Therefore, as a professional, you can choose your clients. You do not need ANY tips from me. So sorry for not hitting the return key. As you should know I respect the abilities both you and Mike have for producing effective sales copy.
