Writing articles and promoting your site is it a good way to generate traffic?

    I recently posted an article in ezinearticles. Do you think writing articles and promoting your site in them will generate good traffic?

    I hope so. I`ve just started writing articles in ezinearticles, and of course have included a link back to my site in the bottom part.

    As for how much traffic is generated, I would imagine that`s down to the quality and uniqueness of the article.

    It should but don't forget about other area's as well.. Myspace,Youtube, Social networking, Yahoo answers, Dig, Stumble upon...etc.
