Hey guys, Currently I'm writing/designing an Ebook about fame and the journey you have to take to become a celebrity. Anyway, I was wondering if Ebooks are generally profitable and how easy/hard it is to sell one? Do you use PayPal to sell the book or another system? What are some of the do's and don'ts? I've tried searching this subject but it was too cluttered, I hope I have put this in the right section, if not, please move to the proper section.
Unless you already have a good community or following, it is most likely an effort that will be in vain...that is, unless you are an amazing salesman or are REALLY good at linkbait.
Of course you can sell an ebook. Look at Clickbank.com it's almost only ebooks. Clickbank is the best processor to use because you can get affiliates to promote for you. Drop into the Clickbank forum here and read. What you need is a good looking landing page, a sales page written by a talented copywriter and good material for affiliates such as banners, email ads and free articles.
eBooks are profitable more when you offer something promising, like $500 a day earnings etc, of curse only do that if you know how to do that what you are offering, otherwise your ebook will be a scam. When you offer something too good to be true a lot of people buy it no matter what.
Some ebooks at very profitable it depends on your content and how well written it is. Your sales page also has to be first class. Check out clickbank, this is a good guide.
They certainly can be, depending on the content that they contain.. if it's about something that is interesting to a particular audience -- preferably a wide audience, then yes.. of course, they can easily be quite profitable.
