I usually split test 3-6 ads and let Google optimize them... Sometimes I try different approaches and sometimes I add the price to adcreative. Does that answer your Q?
Almost. What makes an ad "Adwordy"? Meaning, I am assuming that it involves writing an "ad" so when this ad is written what makes it an Adword ad?
Well that's easy: My ad almost always includes: - the searched keyword or part of it.. (showing up bold in the search results = high CTR ) - my domain name like: "Find it on Amazon.com!" (for branding purposes) - sometimes I write stuff like: "save hundreds of dollars" Things like that makes an ad "Adwordy" in my opinion
Hi mate, The main thing with PPC ads is to get the keyword in and give a reason for someone to click it. You should also create many ad variations and test each one to see which works best.
Make sure you get keyword in the title and description, do 3 or 4 samples and see which one works best for you.
attractive headlines, variation in your ads, key words, and a reason to click is what you should focus, to bring traffic on your website through ads.
Another tip is to write different ads for the regular search network and the content network. Searchers are actively looking for information about at topic, but content network readers need to be interrupted (from reading content) so you will find different types of ads do better- usually bolder and more attention getting headlines - don't worry so much about keywords in the headlines.
