Denise, I write because (a) I'm good at it and (b) it's what is usually referred to as 'content' for a website. I like having written things, and posting them for others to read, but the actual work itself just kills me. Perhaps I'm trying too hard, but it's just exhausting. For the first ~25 years of my life I thought I was going to be a writer, and trained for it. But I was never successful, the reason being (I finally figured out) that I hated the actual work and avoided it for as long as possible. I started several novels and never finished them, etc. I make my living thru medical billing so I don't have to be a writer to survive right now. I'm hoping to make enough from my websites to do that full-time, however... so it's back to the writing game for me. It's just that now I do it in easily-disgestible bites.
Domain - to domain, or not domain, that is the question. I have been in domaining for 3 years and I have mastered this topic.
For me it would be: Business Online and offline marketing Solo entrepreneur SEO Finance Soap Making Time Management But, as long as I have the research material on hand I could write on anything, apart from specialised technical stuff.
I'll write about anything really. I have written about spam, virus' (virii?), web development, books, book reviews, australian politics, car crashes (which are surprising similar to australian politics), technology, molecular physics, taxi drivers, SEO, anything like that. A good writer is someone who can bend his or her talents to any subject at all. The subjects they write best about are generally the ones they have an interest in. I seem to have been cursed with an avid interest in everything though...
Music - mostly because it's what I do for a living; freelance music journalism and acting as editor of a network of pretty big music sites is the day job. I can turn my hand to film/lifestyle/culture quite comfortably. The other stuff I don't really enjoy - it's harder to inject any punch into what you're writing, and I hate anything that sounds stale.
I am very interested in talking with someone who can write about real estate to help fill my new site www.stlmohouse.com with content. I need someone who knows about SEO. What kind of price should I be expected to pay, and what other recomendations can you make so that I can start getting real estate leads from this site. I want to make some money!!!
Fashion Articles - the latest on Fashion Trends Philosophical/Insipiring Articles - I was inspired once by my professor in Psychology/Philosophy Beauty Products Review - I soooooo love doing it, together with fashion revs.
I love writing and i can write on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Not just random writing but SEO writing. Movie, Album and Artist reviews) Health And those are just off the top of my head. I'm also able and practised in my research skills, which means i can write on basically ANYTHING!! I'm not interested in technical writing, but again if i have the information in front of me, i can give it a go. And yea, i love creative writing too - so if anyone needs a poem or essay, i'm here!! I'm also into copy editing. Whether its a college paper, or any other sort of writeup!! P.S. My rates vary for different jobs. But, for content writing, i charge $1.5/100 words for bulk orders.

As I wasn't around the first time it was popular, I'll chime in now: I've written on any number of topics, and some of my favorites are obscure things like flooring and the like because they require more creativity. (A brain workout, if you will.) My best topics would be: Parenting Pregnancy Teen Interest Teen Information Thanks! Rebecca
