    Hello all,
I am willing to know the value of www.writely.org which is a Google Trademark "Writely" where www.writely.com belongs to Google. They now named it as Google Docs with an estimate value of 42.000$ (by CubeStat).

Thank you in advance, especially the experienced users, for your appraisals and comments.

The whole trademark issue would worry me a lot with someone like google who have bottomless pits of cash to feed angry legal people. That aside, it's a very nice domain. Lots of potential on many different genres. $x,xxx

If it is a Google trademark, I wouldn't touch that with a 10 ft. pole - You are just asking for trouble, especially if you plan on developing it. You might be able to sell it to a sucker but most people know about trademark laws, and more companies are going after violators. Good luck with it anyhow, but I would stay away from trademarks in the future.

If it is trademarked as you say it's worth $0, and might cost you a few thousand in a lawsuit if you don't give it up.

actually I don't quite get it... I found it empty and unattended and registered the domain for my self... There is nothing against the law so far... I don't know such a case... if you guys know please let me know because I ran over google's permission and etc. and couldn't find anything like that.. also I have some more of this trademarks in hand.

Doesn't matter if the domain was open for registration, you still have to worry about getting sued over trademark issues. Do a trademark search to see if google actually has trademarked it, and if they do dump the domain.

there is a list of Google Trademarks... it was there before but now it is missing in the list....

What if I use the website with a whole different purpose... and also they are not actively using the domain and trademark(if they still hold it) ... is it still be a problem?
