If you run an ecommerce site, from my experience, original product descriptions work. I’ve come across many eCommerce sites that simply don’t. This means, don’t just take what your wholesaler give you, often in poorly written English, and just slap it on your site. Well written and succinct product descriptions allow potential customers to determine if a product is suitable for them and often speaks to their rational side and implies that you (the retailer) knows his/her products. Hire a copywriter if you are not a good writer, and if you do, look for one who has a passion for the items you are selling.
okay? I think this was meant to be the beginning of a blog post or something. Yes, if you cannot write, hire someone who can. The end.
