I will be reading it to a group of 9th graders with teacher there. And I want to rap it, or make a video.

Hey my friend gave it a shot, ill post his , mine will come when im done:


woke up in the morning and im thinkin in my head
that gravity's gonna stop me from gettin out my bed
but no such luck of course. my mother came knockin in
and with a great big yawn took in a lot of oxygen.
took a shower, got dressed, still dragging feet as the birds chime
get some breakfast to charge my battery n power my turbines
not looking forward to the noise or all my friends stupidity
feeling so blah. i think it must be the humidity
blame it on the rain. blame it on the lack of sunshine
wishing i could hit the snooze button just one time.
oh well just keep it moving, build intertia like dynamo
energy turnin kinetic. forward is where i try to go
before I miss the bus, it's a must, I gotta make it
feet causing friction. electricity im making
although its just static. since i think im mad at
the world the first one to talk to me.Im gonna have at
a shock to the ear, transmitting electrons
when they ask me who did it, I'll simply select john
even though its wrong. I think I really must say
this is just a lovely way to start the day
