Hello, and thank you for checking out my post....

I am having a hard time trying to decide how many wrappers/ containers I need.

You see- I have just one wrapper / container now, it contains the content ( main, aside and footer ). It's a WordPress Theme I'm toying around with.

The question is : Because my Nav Menu is not in the Header, nor is in within the Wrapper/ Container ( It's more like an Island Between the Header and the Wrapper / Container), is it okay with it being without some type of container?.

Anything that does what it needs to do reliably is probably correctly tagged and styled. Adding wrappers, containers or anything else that adds nothing to improve content, structure or presentation is just creating bloat, inefficiency and maintenance issues.

However using toys like Wordpress, instead of coding things yourself may impose some limitations that force you to follow bad coding practices; make sure it actually works withing the theme you are using.
